Nakano Daisho

The Nagano Daisho is a vintage hairband of wild prints and materials. It brings together vintage buttons and animal print fabrics. This combination results in an original three-flower cluster to face what may come.

The Nagano Daisho hairband is made in the Kanzashi fashion. Kanzashi was born with the idea of empowering and symbolically protecting Japanese women in their endeavours. The wild prints and the outstanding beige flower in the middle were carefully chosen to make the woman who wears the Nagano Daisho feel powerful and strong. All materials are vintage, from the fabrics to the buttons. The two buttons are unique. The yellow one is slightly round-shaped, with a lighter yellow flower design within the button circle. The other one is a beautiful, flat, iridescent button.

The wild prints and the vintage buttons embody that strength and rationality a woman warrior summons before her day starts. This hairband is proudly inspired by Nakano Takeko, samurai woman warrior (1847 – 1868).
