Eliza Kinben´na

Eliza Kinben´na is a necklace that evoques the colors  and stripes of a Scottish tartan. It is handmade in the Kanzashi style, the Japanese art of accessory making. This necklace embraces blue, white and red checked patterns, as well as spring, lighter color in the flower patterns. Just as a Scottish day, when all seasons are possible at one given time.

This collection is inspired in Eliza Wigham, Scottish abolitionist and activist. She lead the fight against human inequality and slavery across gender and ethnicity in the United Kingdom. These are values we stand up to. We believe this collection will empower and make the wearer confident to speak up for what their values. Our accessories are crafted with one mission: enable those who wear them to reach as far and high as they are meant to.

This necklace combines colors of different patterns, checked and flower patterns, as well as the plain green small flower on one side. The other plain flower is a small red silk flower. The medium size white, green and red flower is a Liberty print.  There are square copper-colored beads on the small green flower and red playful vintage buttons on some of the other flowers, giving this necklace playful and casual flair. As with all our necklaces, we used a silver chain and clasps for this necklace. All flowers are cotton and it´s a medium sized necklace. This necklace will complement your casual denim or light weather outfit.
