Eliza Tsuyoi

The Eliza Tsuyoi necklace displays a bouquet of beautifully handmade Kanzashi flowers. Kanzashi is the Japanese art of fabric accessory-making. Just as Kanzashi empowered Japanese women through the centuries, this is the purpose of this necklace: to make women feel confident and beautiful to fulfil their aims. This new necklace revamps this art by incorporating checked fabrics and unique buttons. It´s our inspired-in-Scotland twist!

This necklace was created with the figure of Eliza Wigwam in mind, the Scottish abolitionist and activist. Together with other fellow activists, Eliza fought against any obstacle to achieve human equality and freedom across Scotland and the United Kingdom in the late 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. Eliza and the other women are a model for any woman wearing such a necklace like the Eliza Tsuyoi, and aims at empowering them to achieve great deeds and feel great for what they do.

Colorful and fiery, this necklace reflects her pioneering hard work and strong will. The Eliza Tsuyoi necklace showcases vintage, unique buttons. Among these, there´s a big button is originally a metal heart within a navy blue button. There are two other smaller and more colorful and shiny buttons on the smaller flowers. Also vintage is this original combination of blue, white and red on high-quality, soft cotton fabrics.
