Futeki-Nakano

The Nakano Futeki hairband is a kanzashi three-flower handmade bouquet of vintage fabric flowers.

Following the art of Kanzashi, our flowers are handmade following the Japanese fabric art-making tradition. We are committed to sustainability and as such, we use high-quality vintage materials in the making of our flowers: from the fabric to the vintage buttons, and to as much as possible to all the other the materials.

We used a wild pattern for these kanzashi flowers, as it´s inspired by a fierce samurai woman warrior. The Nakano Futeki hairband takes its name after fierce Nagano Takeko. It´s meant to confer the woman who wears it strong and elegant confidence in herself.

For the Nakano Futeki hairband, we combined wild prints and a silk dark and red-dotted flower in the middle of the bouquet. Just as delicately arranged,  a pearl vintage button tops the biggest flower of all.
